Ooooh, another 8 weeks to go from today. Baby JJ is now 32 weeks. Growing and still growing. Trying to get some fats for his body to keep him warm and cosy when he comes out into this world.

Excited to hear from a friend today in Friendster. Haven't spoken to her since the wedding. Looks like everyone wants to see a picture of a preggie person. Here goes.....I have just updated this blog thing today since 2 weeks ago.....and hope that it'll load up some pictures we have recently taken from Ian's phone. Anyways, these are the pictures taken yesterday....In between our antenatal class during lunch break. Very good quality even tho' it came from a cameraphone, eh ??

Other updates....

1. Just had my hair done on Wednesday at Leicester Square. £ 250 it was.....More than twice of the price they charge in Malaysia. So, don't touch my hair coz it's quite expensive ! MY HAIRRRRRR !!!

2. Ian's going to have the laser eye surgery done soon, and will be going for a consultation on Tuesday 9 day after tomorrow ) at 3.30 pm after a lunch appointment with his Boss. Unfortunately no mum and dad to bribe him with more Starwars toys this time. He might miss his glasses, coz he has been wearing glasses since he was a very little boy, maybe 2 or 3 years old.
Mum and Dad's away in Norway since Wednesday with Grandma and Nanny. Hope he won't be too scared coz I would, if i was ian. anyways, he's a brave boy, and I hope he'll be OK. Next time, I think I'll let Ian bring the baby to the doctors for injections coz I am going to be too scared to see little JJ being poked. OK, ok.....Yes, I was a Staff Nurse, but I didn't mind poking other people, but I don't want other people to poke the people I love....Especailly not a little baby !

3. I've got an appointment with Mr Kocher, the Surgeon at Royal London Hospital tomorrow. The bump is gone and the surgical incision is healing very well. Phewwwww.....

4. About little baby JJ : Most of the wrinkles are disappearing from baby's face, and there may be a lot of hair on their head! ( But not if he is like his daddy, coz Ian and Uncle Mark came out hairless, not even a single strand of hair on their little heads ). The weight gain has been fairly incredible recently. Baby has put on about 2 pounds of weight, mostly fat and muscle tissue, since last month, bringing the total to about three pounds eleven ounces (1.7 kilograms), and measurements to 40 cms or 15.8 inches! NO wonder i can't walk very far nowadays......Last time, I couldnt walk far coz I was too lazy. All of baby JJ's 5 senses are functional now, and the toenails are completely formed. He is now able to move his head to his sides, but will be quite limited in the next few weeks, due to the limited spaces left.

5. About me : Heartburn, Indigestion, Breathless.....Sounds like a lazy person, right ?? No, no, no....The discomforst of pregnancy are wearing me down. Also swelling at my fingers, and my engagement rings and wedding band is a bit tight. Doesn't matter, it will go away soon. Also, I am always feeling hot, no matter what it feels like outside......Due to the higher metabolism rate by 20%. Guess what, it is now just Spring, and I cannot imagine what it is going to be like in Summer. Glad that I am not inMalaysia to do those confinement things.

6. About Us ( Ian and I ) : We have finished shopping for baby things....Mum and Dad's bought lots and now, we are all just waiting to see when our little one's going to arrive and make his grand appearance. Ian's been making a DVD, and he's got it done.....Whooopeeee ! We are going to make lots of DVDs and take lots of photos with our Digital Camera when JJ is here !

Ahhhhh, finally the soreness from the surgery is nearly gone ! Hey friends, don't worry now coz Baby and I are both very safe after the surgery. Ian the Daddy is doing great too. For those of you who didn't know about the surgery thing, sorry that I did not tell you guys ! Heheheh ! At least I am glad it isn't something major !

Oh well, since most of you are texting me and asking me why I have been quiet for so long, here goes....Had a inguinal hernia surgery to repair the inguinal canal on 25th April 2006. We went to the Royal London Hospital A&E after we got a referral from the GP ( after my antenatal check up ) to see the Surgeon. he immediately scheduled for an Emergency Surgery at about 11.30 pm and it was done under spinal. It was not a very nice experience as i was awake the whole time and I could understand what he was talking about. If I didn't have the medical knowledge, at least I wouldn't be that nervous. So there goes my blood pressure, up and down. Up due to my fear during the surgery and down due to the Spinal Anaesthetic. And my pulse rate went way up high too ! I was thinking to myself that if they don't get me out of there soon, I think I would have fainted ! ( hehehehe ! ). Fortunately, they finished the surgery at about 1.30 am and I was glad to be back at the ward again. I think it was called Helene Raphael Ward. Another thing is that after surgery, I wasn't given any pain relief as it might endanger the baby so I thought, i would just have to cope with it ! But it was alright tho. I went back on 26th April, as requested.....Very glad to be back home with Ian again ! Mum and Dad were there to help out with chores adn cooking. And I can't describe how happy I was to be back in our own bed again.

So, don't blame me for not writing earlier, peepz ! Right now I am in the 30th week of the pregnancy and only about 10 weeks left to go. Can't wait to be playing with our JJ....And see him grow up to be a fine handsome young lad, like his daddy ! Well, actually Ian is still my number 1 baby ! He'll always be my baby !
